Bob Todd Interviews

1.     If you could have any super power what would you want to have?

If I could choose any superpower, it would be the ability to fly.  I spend way too much time driving from place to place.

2.    What is your favorite physical activity?

My favorite physical activity is biking, particularly on the York Rail Trail.

3.    What are you doing on a typical Friday night?

My typical Friday night is (1) making the weekly trek to Lowe’s to get whatever we need for our     weekend project around our home and (2) writing checks for the 2 churches for which I’m     treasurer.

4.    What are you most proud of?

I’m most proud of my family.  I’m blessed with a super wife, 2 great daughters, and an amazing     granddaughter.

5.    What are 3 things you could never go without?

Three things I can’t do without.   I’m taking ‘things’ literally, i.e., doesn’t include people.  First,     something to occupy and expand my mind.  I find so many things interesting – I don’t do bored.      Second, I love to travel, experiencing new places, cultures, foods, etc.,  Lastly, my Jeep.  I admit     it, I’m hooked on 4-wheeling.

6.    What is the best health advice you have ever been given?

Many people over the years have offered good health advice.  I’ve tried to follow their advice     but nothing ever worked.  I think that the I Can! Challenge is going to be the advice that finally     sinks in.  The plan is so logical and so complete.  I don’t see how it can fail.

7.    What is your favorite part of living in South Central Pennsylvania?

I like the proximity of South Central Pennsylvania to EVERYTHING.  So many things are within     range to be considered ‘day trips’.  We can ski, hit the beach, visit major urban centers,  go     hiking, commune with nature, go biking, and, of course, do some off-roading with the Jeep.

8.    What’s your favorite healthy meal or snack?

My favorite healthy meal is fish, a small baked potato (nothing on it), and properly cooked     veggies.

9.    What was the worst health habit you picked up as a child that still haunts you as an adult?

I have so many bad health habits, but the one that I grew up with and I still think of every time I     eat is ‘eat everything on your plate, Bob’.   Overeating was definitely thought of as a good thing.

10.    Who do you most admire and why?

Easy question!  I most admire my wife.   She’s the smartest person I know; a great wife, mother,     and grandmother; the person I can always count upon; and the perfect life partner for me.
