Week 10 Challenge: Understand Your Condition
Learning about your condition is an important part of decreasing your risks. Many words used by people in the health community like doctors or nurses are not understood by the common person. These might be names used for the condition or ways to describe certain situations or symptoms. Understanding your condition can be useful in maintaining the relationship between you and your doctor. It is also important in making sure you truly understand what you have and what steps you need to take to improve your condition.
The most important medical term to understand is what your condition actually is and what causes you to get this disease. Once you understand symptoms and causes, you can learn how to reduce certain risks.
